Copernicus Krakow

The hotel was superb. The location was excellent, the service friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable. The food was spectacular. Staying on the first floor proved a little noisy due to guests dining at the restaurant, but other than that, the hotel was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Copernicus. It has a comfortable relaxed atmosphere and all the staff were both friendly and helpful When we arrived, I was somewhat disappointed to be shown to a room with only a shower in spite of my specific request for a bath. However, within five minutes we were given a charming room overlooking the inner courtyard. The continental style buffet breakfast included an excellent range of food all immaculately presented. Cooked dishes were also available. We made use of the sauna and it was great to relax in the swimming pool after a days sightseeing. The pool is fairly small and more than two or three attempting to swim lengths is about it's capacity. There is a generous number of fitness machines and all of these facilities are available 24/7. There is a pretty rooftop terrace with views over to the Wawel Castle and you can ring down for drinks from the bar! Apart from being such lovely intimate hotel, the Copernicus is positioned in a quiet area of the old town close by the Wawel Castle. It is within easy walking distance of the City square, museums and churches. I had booked our visit as a birthday treat for my husband. We were both delighted and it was really good value.

Beautiful blend of old with new. Very unique hotel. Our room was very large with an over the roof top view. However, I felt that the furnishings were very spartan in comparison with the opulence of the rest of the hotel.

Quite the most beautiful hotel I have stayed in in Poland. Elegant, quiet and wonderful staff.
